Intimate Cottage Wedding in Port Severn

I was really looking forward to shooting Florence and Michael’s cottage wedding in Port Severn. Because of Covid-19, they had to change their wedding plans, including the venue and guest list, and they decided to celebrate their special day at Mike’s family cottage. It ended up being a beautiful and intimate wedding celebration with close friends and family, right on the lake. We got pretty lucky because the rain held up for most of the day, and when it did rain, it didn’t last very long.
After the ceremony, a bunch of us got into the car and drove to nearby rapids for some group photos. This was super fun and we couldn’t have picked a more beautiful spot. I mean…is there a bad spot for photos up north? Don’t think so! After the photo session, we all went back to the cottage for some champagne and food, AND THEN… I made Mike and Flo jump into the water! I figured…the lake is right there and we could probably get some epic shots, so why not? I wasn’t sure if they would be up for it, but they didn’t even hesitate. My kinda people. :)The shot of them in the water is now one of my favourites!

I had SUCH a great time shooting their intimate cottage wedding and I really love how the photos turned out. Check it out! Oh..don’t forget to press play before you start scrolling. ;)
