Maternity and Motherhood
Photography

Your Story Begins Here.

Black and white photo of a pregnant woman wearing a large hat, an open blazer, and jeans, standing against a textured wall, touching her hat and looking to the side.

Pregnancy is the beginning of your family’s story—a time filled with anticipation, love, and transformation. As a Toronto maternity photographer, I specialize in creating soulful, authentic images that celebrate this extraordinary chapter in your life.

My maternity photography sessions are designed to be relaxed, empowering, and deeply personal. Whether you're envisioning a cozy in-home shoot, a dreamy studio session, or a natural outdoor maternity photoshoot, we’ll plan every detail together. From wardrobe styling to location guidance, I’ll help bring your vision to life in a way that feels true to you.

Using gentle direction and thoughtfully curated wardrobe options—including silk sheets, tulle, flowers, or anything that you feel comfortable in—I’ll help you feel confident, beautiful, and completely at ease. Maternity sessions are best scheduled between 26–34 weeks of pregnancy, when your baby bump is beautifully round and you're still comfortable moving freely.

These are more than just pregnancy photos—they're meaningful portraits that capture your strength, beauty, and the beginning of your journey into motherhood. Your images will become part of your family’s legacy, cherished for generations to come.

FAQ

How do I book a session? All I need is a $200 deposit to secure a date.
Do I need to book the studio? How does that work?
Typically, I will reserve the studio for the photoshoot. When I send you the invoice for the deposit, the studio fee will be added as well.

Do you help with the planning process? Yes! Absolutely. We can discuss your vision for the shoot and create a mood board in Pinterest. If you’d like to shoot in a studio, I will send you a few options to choose from. Studio rates range between $65-125$ per hour.

Do you provide wardrobe? I provide a few things: silk sheets, tulle and a couple of flowy dresses. I still recommend you bring a couple of your own outfits. Some studios might provide wardrobe as well.

When do sessions take place? If we are shooting outdoors, the last 2 hours of the day are the best for lighting. For in home or studios sessions, anytime during the day is fine.

When will I receive my photos? About 2-4 weeks after the photoshoot!

  • "Becoming a mother leaves no woman as it found her. It unravels her and rebuilds her. It cracks her open, takes her to her edges. It’s both beautiful and brutal, often at the same time.”
