Golden Hour Shoot

Back in March, I was giving away a portrait session through Instagram. I thought it was a great chance for someone to have a professional shoot, but also an opportunity for me to have some fun and be creative. The winner of the contest ended up being Elizabeth, a yoga teacher from Toronto. We finally scheduled a shoot in July, since we both wanted to do it outside and in good weather. The day we picked was perfect and we had the most beautiful light to play with. I love how they turned out. Take a look at we got…:)

Portrait Sessions in Prince Edward County

I recently started a side hustle with a couple of friends. Tanja (yoga instructor), Natasha (holistic nutritionist) and myself organized our first yoga and wellness retreat that was specifically suited for women. It was held in Prince Edward County in a beautiful cottage. The whole idea of this retreat was for people to disconnect from their busy lives, to re-energize and relax. We offered daily plant-based meals, morning and evening yoga sessions and mini-classes on a variety of topics related to health and wellness. Since it was specifically geared to women, we wanted to add a special element to it – a goddess photoshoot. This was the chance for each guest to get creative and have fun in front of the camera, and feel comfortable in their own skin. It was my job to capture all these beautiful women in nature and I’m so happy with the results. Here are some of my favourites.

Baby Julian

I took photos of Diogo and Marisa last year when they were expecting their first baby. We has a great time shooting outside in a park. Now that baby Julian has come into this world, I was so happy to take a few photos of him and all of them together as a family. He is the sweetest little boy! We took these photos in their cozy apartment in Toronto.

Ophelia's Baptism

A couple of weeks ago, I was asked to take photos for Ophelia’s baptism. It was a beautiful day and everything ran smoothly. Considering how overwhelming this event may be for little babies, Ophelia did great! Here are a few photos from her big day!

Portrait Session with Sylvia

I really enjoy shooting portraits. There is no rush or pressure, so my subject (as well as myself) can really enjoy the shoot. This particular session was with Sylvia at University of Toronto. I was trying to look for different backgrounds and textures and it turned out to be a pretty good spot for all those things. We went out a couple hours before the sunset to really take advantage of that golden hour. I really enjoyed this shoot, especially because I had such an amazing model, Sylvia. She is a natural! Here are some shots from our shoot.
