A Caucasus-Style Wedding Full of Tradition and Heart

As a Toronto wedding photographer, I have the honour of capturing so many beautiful love stories—and Marem and Lejvi’s Caucasus-style wedding was one I won’t forget. The day was steeped in tradition, emotion, and the kind of cinematic moments that make wedding photography truly meaningful.

We began the day at the first venue, where Marem’s family and friends gathered in celebration. There was music, laughter, and the joyful anticipation of the day ahead. Soon after, Lejvi arrived to pick up his bride and together, they headed to the second venue, where his side of the family was waiting to continue the celebration.

Between the two events, we made a stop at Studio by House—a beautifully minimal space perfect for capturing timeless, editorial-style portraits. This wedding was a perfect blend of tradition and modern romance, and I’m so grateful to have documented it. Check out some of the photos below.
